Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 7 days business days. International orders are generally received in under 14 days days.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee All of our products, with the exclusion of accessories, have a minimum of a 12-month product warranty to guarantee your satisfaction with our products and our company. The specific length of warranty on individual items is stated next to each product, for your further reference.

Privacy Policy Allied Health do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase*, you can return it within 30 days for a refund, less a modest £10 administration charge, unless otherwise stated in the product information. Postage is non-refundable. Please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. Refunds will be made directly to your credit/debit card account, or via BACS to your bank account if you paid by cheque.

Refunds may be declined on products returned significantly outside the trial period.

Items must be returned in a resaleable condition - we reserve the right to levy an additional charge for damaged items, or to decline the refund. We recommend that you use a guaranteed postal service to return the unit, we are unable to accept responsibility for lost or damaged packages that were not insured.

*Salonpas patches, folding walking stick, thermometers and accessories are non-refundable.

Replacemens Most of our units are guaranteed for a minimum of 1 year - many are guaranteed for 5 years (see product information for further details), and should a fault develop within this period, Allied Health will repair or replace the unit free of charge.

This does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, abuse or alteration.

Accessories such as electrodes, leads and batteries are also not covered, as these will need periodic replacement from normal wear and tear.

Units returned outside the warranty period will be subject to a repair fee - please contact our Customer Services Department for further information.

Please use a guaranteed postal service for return of your item, we will not be liable for lost or damaged packages. Please allow 14 days for replacement of your item.
Remittance Terms The Inland Renenue accepts that people using TeNS to help with chronic pain conditions should not have to pay VAT on these items if they meet the following criteria:

(Group 14, Schedule 5 of the VAT Act, 1983)

1. The condition that is being treated must be chronic, (all this actually means is that you have suffered from the problem or medical condition for more than 2 months).

2. The condition that is being treated is disabling. This is to say it may hamper you to some degree in your day-to-day activities. (E.g. If you have a back injury and are unable to carry shopping home you could consider that the back injury disables you).

3. The unit is for your personal use, (you would not qualify for VAT exemption if you intend to use your unit to treat others as part of your profession for example).

You don't have to be registered disabled or wheelchair-bound to claim VAT exemption. Most of Allied Health's customers will actually claim VAT exemption when ordering TeNS and Acupoint units - precisely because these items were designed to treat pain from chronic conditions.

Unfortunately, if you think you qualify to claim VAT exemption, you will not be able to order online, as we need a signed declaration from yourself before we can take VAT off the cost of the product. To order if you are VAT exempt, you need to:

1. Click on the link below, and print off a copy of the VAT Declaration.
2. Select your products from our store as normal, and complete the Order Form.
3. Print out the Order Form - do not click on 'Send Form'
4. Post the Order Form, signed declaration and your payment to us. The amount you need to pay is shown on the Order Form as 'Sub Total (incl. Shipment)'

If you are paying by credit card, we will accept a faxed copy. Allied Health CANNOT take orders over the telephone if you are claiming VAT exemption.
